Wisconsin college attainment rises to 41.3%

The percentage of 25- to 34-year-old Wisconsinites with postsecondary degrees rose to 41.3% in 2010, up from 40.8% in 2009, according to state-by-state U.S. Census Bureau figures released Thursday by the U.S. Department of Education.

That puts Wisconsin above the national average college attainment rate of 39.3% of 25- to 34-year-olds with an associates degree or higher in 2010.
